Homemade Cat Food; Challenge No.8 Turkey with carrot

Homemade Cat Food; Recipe No.8 Turkey with carrot

Seems like we have a winner! After 7 weeks of, least to say, unsatisfactory results with our cat recipes challenge and today we finally have something to show for! (Did you know that that idiom “to show for” was used for the first time in 1727?). OK. Enough with irrelevant info. Let’s just say, right at the start, that this recipe is the most successful one since we started doing this 8 weeks ago. Now, without further ado let’s get to it.

Turkey with carrot

Preparation

The time required to make cheesy snacks is around 20 minutes! Here is what we need:

  • 1 or 2 boneless and skinless turkey breast fillets
  • 3/4 cup of sliced cooked carrot
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • some olive oil

Cut the fillets into small pieces, put them in the pan, in one layer and fry them on olive oil for 2–3 minutes on each side.

Let it cool off and in the meantime mix the carrot with butter.

Serve it together and that’s it! 🙂 And Tito is, as always – just lovin’ it wishing his mouth was bigger!

Pierre had to touch the food with his paw first just to make sure it is real 😀

And now, ladies and gentlemen, the moment of truth. How did the jury of five vote? (If you’d like to know more about our jury of five, please see the post with the first recipe, we introduced our jury here ->) So, here are the votes:

Poofah McClaw Mr. Alphons Meower Myratz Catsidy Tito Meowalot Pierre Purry
four stars

Poofah: “Finally something tasteful. Really good actually! Love it!”

three stars

Mr. Alphons:”Not bad. But… you know, you can do it better. Do it again, but with chicken.”

one star

Myratz: “What’s this? Are you serious?”

five stars

Tito: “Thank you. I love you. I’ll eat everything. I love this. I love the plate. And I love everything. Love is in the air! Nom – nom!”

four stars

Pierre: “Smells nice, tastes good. Very good. Very good indeed :)”

The Verdict

Since each vote of the jury members has the same “weight” we will calculate the average. Total stars given was 17 divided by 5, well, average is 3,4.

The working title of the next recipe is: Chicken pea cream

Until then, stay well! A big MEOW! from the CatMagg Crew
