Today, we will show you how to prepare homemade cat food chicken pea cream. Although this first sentence probably sounds a bit weird, you get the idea on what will this post be about. So, bear with us as it’s gonna be interesting.
It’s a quest. A journey. It is not as easy as just getting the food from, say, Amazon. It takes persistence and hard work but we made it to the cat food Recipe No.9 and, ladies and gentleman, today we can present you:
Homemade Cat Food – Chicken Pea Cream Recipe
The time required to make this meal is around 20 minutes!
Here is what we need:
- 1 lbs (1/2 kg) of minced chicken meat
- 3/4 cup of cooked green pea
- some olive oil
Of course, as always, our cat jury is making sure that the ingredients of their today’s meal is of a highest quality, that it is fresh and, of course, it must smell good. Only once we get their “go ahead” can we proceed and go ahead with making their food. Again, this is processed food, but as processed as the one we buy in the superstores. Here, we know exactly what we put inside.
Homemade Cat Food: Chicken Pea Cream – Preparation
Minced meat needs to be cooked for about 10 to 15 minutes. But, as know, cat’s can be patient. Mostly. This does not include our cat Tito who is completely impatient for just about anything. Even when he is Tired, he just can’t wait to fall asleep. And once he is asleep, he is impatient to wake up and get excited or impatient about whatever is coming up next on his schedule. But that is Tito. Pierre, on the other hand, is pretty “zen” cat.
And here is Tito being impatient to try whatever is in there. And what is in there? Well, the meat has been cooked and now we’ve put all of the ingredients into the blender.
Basically, after it has all been mixed in the blender – this is it. Our cat food is ready to be served. However, who can wait for it to be served? Well, just about anyone except for Tito. He wants it all and he wants it now.
Somehow, we managed to save the meal from the disaster and serve it to all.
And now, ladies and gentlemen, the moment of truth. How did the jury of five vote on our today’s quest for the best homemade cat food – chicken pea cream? (If you’d like to know more about our jury of five, please see the post with the first rrecipe, we introduced our jury here ->) So, here are the votes:
Poofah: “Yum! This tastes good.”
Mr. Alphons:”Love it. Almost perfect.”
Myratz: “Meow? Are you kidding me?”
Tito: “I couldn’t wait to taste it. Smells nice, tastes great.”
Pierre: “Love this food. I’ve enjoyed being a member of this project.”
Since each vote of the jury members has the same “weight” we will calculate the average. Total stars given was 18 divided by 5, well, average is 3,6.
The working title of the next recipe is: Crispy salmon
