Ha! And just when you thought we are not going to make it, as today was the last day of this week – surprise! We did it and pushed it to Week No. 3 in our 100 Cat Recipes in 100 Weeks challenge! 3 down 97 to go. It’s a long road ahead of us but, well, we’re taking it small steps, baby steps 🙂
Ladies and gentleman, CatMagg.Com crew proudly presents:
Time required to make this meal: 20 minutes. Ingredients: 2 cups of chopped beef
So, let’s get started!
Chopped beef needs to be cooked for 15 minutes. (On this image we can see shy Pierre as he was, waiting for the meal to be finished.)
Once it’s done, drain it and cool it off, mix it with chicken egg yolks, optionally you may add 1/2 tea spoon of olive oil. Add a 1/2 tea spoon of barley grass powder or sprinkle it over the food.
Serve it fresh!
It doesn’t look much from the outside, but Tito, obviously didn’t mind.
If you’d like to know more about our jury of five, please see the post with the first recipe, we introduced our jury here ->
And here are the votes:
Poofah: “Look, I will give you two points. But only because I can see that you struggle and I don’t want you to get depressed. Again. Otherwise, you’d get one point. Just sayin’. To make it clear.”
“OK. This is kinda better but still not Tres bien. However, my fears that you ‘ll repeat the disaster from the last time were not justified. Here is three points, but just so you know, I expect much more from you in the future.”
Myratz: “This is a bit better, but I am still not talking to you. And I never will. I talk to you when you’re asleep. But this doesn’t count.”
Tito: “Yeah!” short silence “Yeah! Yeah! Gimme more of this! And I’ll give you four point just because I want to leave an impression of a guy who has a criteria when judging a food.”
Pierre: “Yeah. That’s better. Tastes almost like the fly I ate this morning. I headed on with a lousy start and this was your last chance to save your reputation before you even started building it Here’s three.”
Since each vote of the jury members has the same “weight” we will calculate the average. Total stars given was 14 divided by 5, well, average is 2,8. Which is better than 1,8 which we had last time.
So, we are making a progress but are not there yet. And, as Churchill once said: “We shall make cat food on the beach, we shall make cat food on the shores, we shall make cat food on the airports and, all in all, we shall never, never surrender!”
So, next time we will prepare
Chicken Barley Porridge
Until then, stay well!
